Poppystamps Just Bling It! Challenge

Saturday, July 1, 2017

Morning, y'all!  If you can believe it, July has arrived; and that means a brand new challenge over at Poppystamps.  This one is called Just Bling It!  Here's how I was inspired.
I started this card by inking the bottom of a piece of white, glitter paper, from middle to bottom, in shades of Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans, and Peeled Paint Distress Inks, leaving the top white for a Stitched Cloudline die cut.  A second piece of white glitter paper, die-cut, using another one of the Stitched Cloudline dies, was tucked behind the first, before both were adhered to the Pool Party, cardstock, card face.

I then grounded them both with the Freida Curve, die-cut from Always Artichoke cardstock and stamped, in Jet Black ink, with the "TIME TO sparkle AND SHINE" sentiment.
Everything was then secured with double, white-threaded, straight, machine stitching; before the faeries, die-cut from Basic Black cardstock and vellum, were popped up with foam tape.
A Pink Pirouette, cardstock, Stitched Butterfly Trio die cut, dressed up with a little bling, completes the look.
Be sure to stop by the challenge link above to get all your challenge details and find out what you're playing for this month.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a sensational July, friends!
